Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to: analyze key leadership concepts, models, and theoretical frameworks to determine how they influence team performance and organizational effectiveness; explain the characteristics of major leadership styles and theories and how they influence team development and organizational effectiveness; describe the stages of team development and the roles individuals play in creating productive and collaborative teams; apply principles of emotional intelligence, empathy, and cultural awareness in leadership situations involving diverse teams; demonstrate effective communication strategies, including constructive feedback and active listening, to support team cohesion and performance; analyze how different leadership styles impact team dynamics, motivation, and productivity in organizational settings; examine the challenges of remote and hybrid team leadership and identify strategies to overcome communication and coordination barriers; evaluate leadership decisions related to delegation, coaching, and mentoring to improve team effectiveness and individual development; and assess leadership strategies used during organizational change or crises and determine their effectiveness in maintaining team stability.
 Leadership and Team Building examines the principles and practices of effective leadership within team-based organizational environments. The course explores leadership behaviors, team roles, leadership theories, emotional intelligence, and strategies for building cohesive and high-performing teams. Students analyze leadership approaches in both traditional and virtual work environments, with particular attention to delegation, coaching, mentoring, and managing teams during periods of change or crisis. Learners develop practical skills for motivating individuals, fostering collaboration, and guiding teams toward organizational goals. The course emphasizes developing leadership competencies necessary to manage diverse teams and address modern leadership challenges in dynamic professional settings.
